Satin Black Taillight Film with Air Channel Paper Liner

VinylFrog satin black taillight film gives your rear lights a refined, low-sheen finish that sits between matte and gloss. It softens the glare from bright lights, making them easier on the eyes while still delivering a clean, custom look.

The satin finish does more than just look good. It protects your taillight lenses from UV rays, road debris, and minor scratches. It also helps keep moisture and condensation from seeping into the housing, extending the life of your lights.

Installation is straightforward. The air-channel paper liner pushes trapped air out during application, so you are not fighting bubbles. The adhesive is repositionable, which means you can slide it around to get the alignment right before pressing it down. A self-healing topcoat closes minor wash marks and light scratches with heat exposure.

Proper Installation

If the taillight surface is clean and undamaged before installation, the wrap adheres evenly and removes smoothly.

Proper Removal Technique

Using gentle heat (like a heat gun or hairdryer) softens the adhesive, making it easier to peel without pulling or tearing the headlight’s factory coating.

Warning

If the taillight are already oxidized, yellowed, or have weak factory coating, peeling the wrap can pull off clear coat or cause flaking.

Shelf Life

1 year from date of purchase when stored at 50°F to 80°F (15°C – 25°C) and 45% to 50% relative humidity. The optimum recommended storage conditions are 72°F (22°C) and 50% relative humidity.

Durability

The durability of the product is based on exposure conditions in South China. Actual performance life will depend on substrate preparation, exposure conditions, and maintenance of the product. For instance, in areas with excessively high temperature, industrial pollution, or high altitude, exterior performance will decrease.

Recommendations

Recommended application tools: Squeegee, buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IRR thermometer, sprayer, towel, and installation liquid
Application method: Standard methods for Car Light Protection Film. Do not overstretch and overheat. Post heating is necessary.
Post-heating temperature: 110°C flat surfaces, 130°C curves and overlaps.
Aftercare: PH neutral. Avoid wax or solvents.
